This simulator allows for an estimation of the range of an electric bike in real time. It can simulate the acceleration of the vehicle, driving up the hill, different speeds, the weight of the vehicle, the coefficient of rolling resistance (tire type, tire pressure, surface type), the coefficient of aerodynamic bicycle rider front surface, and the size of the wheel.

Driving simulator parameters are set by default to drive on tarmac tires pumped up to 3.5 bar and with small tread.

Hi bartek, i want to make an electric vehicle that weights 285kg, motor is 72v 5600rpm 5.4nm, battery is 25ah 72v, how much range can i get? At what speed?

How is the Range calculated ? Whats the algorithm/formula for calculating range including the parameters in simulator.

I want to make an electric bike. The power of bldc motor is 2.5kw with 48v 50ah lithium ion battery pack. The overall weight is 300kg. So, what will be the range of bike at speed of 60kmph.

@Ricki Check out this simulation:

If the vehicle is in the shape of a bicycle or motorcycle, the air resistance is so great that at this speed the motor must have a minimum of 11KW of power

Dear Admin

How to calculate the range of the vehicle and total weight is 400Kg.

We are using 3Kw rate and peak 6Kw
Rated Torque - 6Nm
RpM - 4500rpm
Voltage - 48V

Expected range 150Km
Expected speed - max 110Kmph

Kindly suggest us what would the amps of the battery pack and would would range? Kindly share the calculation.

Below simulator algorithm:

Air resistance = 0.5 * 1.226 * Aerodynamics coefficient * Face surface * ( Speed ) up to third;

Rolling resistance on flat = Weight * Rolling coefficient * Acceleration of the earth
* Speed;

Rolling resistance on a hill = ( Weight * cos(tan(Angle of a hill
/ 100)) * (Rolling coefficient + tan(tan(Angle of a hill / 100))) ) * Acceleration of the earth * Speed ));
